Becky Nurse of Salem by Sarah Ruhl is a dark comedy about a sharp-witted, descendant of executed witch Rebecca Nurse, who works as a museum guide in modern-day Salem, struggling with her legacy, job loss, and contemporary feminist issues in the “lock her up” era, leading her to consult a modern witch and descend into chaos, tackling history, modern woes, and the opioid crisis with wit and fury.
Run time: ~2 hours with one 10-minute intermission
Mature audiences only (18+). Infants not admitted. All patrons require a ticket.
